How SeaCompetence exams work
A SeaCompetence sitting is a logged-in exam in the panel: you register with a rank, take a practice or official paper, and the result is stored.
How do I start?
Create an account in the exam panel and complete profile fields such as rank. Supervisors can then see you as a student and assign official papers where your organisation uses that workflow.
What is the difference between practice and official?
Practice exams are for training and can be repeated. Official exams are timed, attempt-limited, and recorded so a training officer can review the outcome.
How are questions chosen?
Exams pull from a question pool. Rank filters and category rules decide which items a cadet versus a senior officer sees.
